The most obvious is young love, which we decided was suitable because of our choice of song which is to do with love. This is shown with the stop motion shot of the heart as well as the red tint which we decided to use as red is the colour of love. This leads to the playfulness which is displayed from our main character, Imogen, in the way that she smiles, waves and interacts with the camera as well as the jumping around with the dog. We also felt that the lighting is relatable to the happiness of young love in the way that there are several shots during our music of the sun shining.
The other would be the secretiveness that was difficult to display but it is shown in the way that the beginning of the video is about a mystery girl until just before the chorus where there is the first shot of her face. This is connected to the male character in the way that the first shot of him is when the camera slowly moves from his feet up his body. This shot cuts just as the camera reaches his mouth, meaning that the mystery of who the male character that the song is about is kept till the very end.
